Okay everyone, these are the main basic guidelines around here C:

1) Follow all ToS. If you don't remember them, click here and have a read through. You had to agree with them to sign up as a member, so please follow them. (Basically, they mean you must be 13 or older to use this board, don't do anything stupid, and don't break the law.)

2) Please don't use text language. It can be very hard to read for other people and can disrupt the flow of the role-play, not to mention the OC.

3) No art-theft please. If you use an image please credit the artist/photographer.

4) No hardcore swearing, please. (If it's censored, don't use it.)

5) It is expected that your OC contains nothing that could offend members of a culture, religious belief, country, blood type, disorder... Anything. Although this does come under the 'respect' category, reiteration is the best means of integration.

6) Spam is not appreciated. Post in the correct board or not at all. No double-posting :)

7) Please be respect itself to everyone. if you have a problem with someone, please PM one of the admins.

8) Mary-sueing or God-moding is not appreciated either. It ruins it for others when you character passes the STD of Mary Sue. Please create well thought-out characters that have flaws C:

9) The maximum character limit is 5. If you make an account per character, please put a link in your signature that leads to your main.

10) Please, don't ask for or provide any personal real-world information. Your address, name, phone-number and even country of origin or religion are all personal to you, and while you are quite obviously allowed to say where you come from and what religion you are, you don't have to give this information to anyone.

11) PMs are there for you to communicate privately with other members. We expect all PMs to follow these rules to the letter. Anyone who has received a message that makes them feel uncomfortable, or that they're not sure is well-intentioned, remember that staff are here to help, not to yell at you :).

12) You must read all applicable information before making a bio, and all information on locations and such before role-playing. An area that is 'Mysted' is restricted to the Infected creatures, and unless you want your character to become a mindless automaton, don't post. Only the Chimera are impervious to Myst, and we'd like it to stay that way.

13) So far, we have no code-word to make sure you've read the rules, but because you've gotten this far, I trust you've read them, and thank-you for doing so ^^. Please follow them, feel free to report anyone to staff that you see breaking the rules (linking to it is appreciated) and remember that the FAQ board is always open for business, so you don't have to PM us about every question ^^. (Though a full inbox makes us feel loved XD)

14) If there are any disputes that break the rules, a staff member will probably organise an inquisition... No, not quite the Spanish Inquisition, but we will check it out. All our decisions are as fair as we can make them, and if you have a problem with the outcome of a dispute, or you have one with a staff member, PM either the staff member who gave the outcome you are not happy with, or a different staff member to the one you have an issue with. Just don't PM us because we changed your display name (because it was probably not in accordance with our rules), or modified a post (because an image was too large, or there was information we could not allow).

15) Warnings -and we sincerely hope not to give any of these- will be removed in lots of 5%, 10%, or 20% every month of good behaviour. The amount removed depends upon the state of behaviour, and the seriousness of the initial misdoing.
Bans... Bans will only be given for serious bad behaviour. If your warning level is over 70%, you are trying our patience. If your warning level is 100%, then we will ban you, for at least two months. You can be banned even without a warning level, but this is only for serious transgressions, such as major porn, damnable language, or extreme hate-flame against any person/culture/religion/country, etc. Guests can be banned for short periods if they break any rules, as a substitute for a warning. This will begin at one day and will steadily increase to a permanent ban if behaviour continues.

16) If you want more Chaos or some more karma points (Check 'Alignment' in your mini-profile for current levels), soon we hope to have a rewards system up.

17) If you want to become staff, don't ask... Well, of course you can ask. But unless you've at least got a bio, (or if you keep asking) we'll find it very hard to say yes. As a matter of fact, we're not even looking for staff yet, so it's likely your request will be denied. It's nothing personal :)

18) There's probably a ton of information in the FAQ that you can check up on. Please don't forget to read the information, and volunteer any more ideas for the site in the >> dreams and wishes board.

And last of all, be aware that the admins like to mess around with people's karma, though they will never put it below zero. [Unless it's their own XD.]
