Resurgence is a sci-fi roleplaying game set in the present time with locations scattered from Vladamir, Russia to the hippest night clubs in Florida. The dilemna is a classic one; a created race who discovered its freedom and now seeks to live peacefully to the dismay of its creator. In this game you will face being hunted, the onslaught of tradition, the missions assigned you and the hardest part of all - your everyday relationships. Each region has a designated hot zone where Werecats do not dwell lightly. Traversing these zones, your character risks being shot with what is called a "spite bite". This decreases your character's health and renders it unconscious and at the mercy of whatever companion was with them at the time. The benefits of facing the hot zones is earning valuable points that you can spend either on weapons (to decrease the likelihood of getting shot), vehicles, housing or abilities.

The character sheet for your typical werecat is something like that of a werewolf, minus the fleas and lack of control. Werecats were created by the Russians with the hopes of being used as super soldiers or spies. They have heightened reflexes, sight, smell and sound. They also possess retractable claws and to facilitate night vision their pupils are shaped like crescents (as most cats have). The old generations were of the purest Russian lines, while the younger generations have been sprouting out as far as Japan.

This site specializes in complex and in depth character development. On the application you will be given a decision of what color gene you like while your other werecat gene is determined according to how you answer the survey provided. These genes will give your character some predisposed traits as well as specialties. Before, when I mentioned missions and prizes I brought to light special abilities - these are the super genes which are to be available within a week of your character being created. They will cost 5,000$ each and no cat may have two super genes.

Currently there are positions open as clan leaders, diplomats and field agents. Clan leaders are permitted to appoint who they will within their own clan. Auditioning will commence directly. If you wish to audition you must simply make a character, wait for the genes to be assigned. After the process is completed applicants will answer a questionaire. If accepted a thread with the three founders is required before the new addition assumes their place in the assigned region.
