The list of scientists that have worked on Alex is lng, but recently he has come into Vanyels posession.
APPEARANCE:

LENGTH: ¼” covering his entire body. And a further 3 and ¾” where a humans hair would grow
SKIN TONE: not that you would ever see, but his skin tone almost rivals his hair.
MODIFICATIONS: Once it was discovered that animals crossed, various different experiments took place. Almost any possible variation took place. Alex was one of those variations. A human was combined with your average housecat, your average, female housecat. And what you get is a sexually confused man covered in hair.
To be more exact, he has fur but lacks a tail or ears, the scientists saw them as rather pointless in their current experiment. His face was slightly elongated to accommodate for his olfactory senses as well as to see how the human bone structure would adapt to the K-9 DNA. Upon seeing the success with his skull, his bones were manipulated along with his muscles in a successful attempt to heighten his endurance and speed.
Later on, at the whim of one of his earlier masters, his hands were adapted and given pads as well as claws to create a more K-9 appearance. The surgery for the tail and ears was deemed to expensive for a mere… pet.
Along with the physical adaptations, the scientists attempted to change his personality as well. This side of the experiment did not go as well. They failed to overcome his overall, meek nature. Only the stronger baser instincts held through, those programmed for survival… such as those associated with food… or reproduction. So he is protective of his food, and well, twice a year he becomes easily agitated and rather… easy. At the same time his abdomen cramps as it attempts to squeeze what isn’t there, and he exudes incredibly strong hormones that has him shut up away from most male dogs… and humans for that matter.
FULL DESCRIPTION:Alex looks remarkably… well dog-like. This is to be expected, but still. His face is elongated and there is not much about it that seems human, then again… what makes someone look human. People claim it is the eyes, the range of emotions they can show. While I have seen animals display outrage obedience love, devotion, lust, anger… any emotion a human can. So when I say he does not look human, I only say he would stand out in a crowd, and his face does resemble that of a dog.
Despite the face he lacks two of the key points that dogs generally are classified by. Speciphacly ears and a tail, he was not incompatible with these, it was just, that at the time, they seemed unnecessary and inconvenient. He has a fairly limber build and if he ever goes into the public it is only at night and in a deep hood.

AMBITIONS
To be loved… well, actually he wants praise, that would be the dog talking. Aside from that his life goal has already been achieved, he has a warm house and food on his table.
FULL PERSONALITY: Always willing to please Alex is a true sycophant. Whether this is more of the domesticated animal inside him or his own natural inclination towards Obedience, he is entirely willing to do as told. Then again, it might be the fact that he was broken at a very young age and well, conditioned to obey. Although it does not physically pain him to disobey, it comes close. Thankfully this only takes place with his master at the time, or someone in an equally powerful position… although it is hard to find anyone who is valued at the same level as his master.
He is a little unsteady when it comes to matters of the psyche. He is liable to breakdown and cry at the slightest provocation, and his actions would sometimes be viewed as childish. Whether it is simple immaturity or once again, his K-9 nature, he will never be able to become completely stable.

KNOWN HISTORY: Born to a prostitute in Listhia his mother was a hooker who had chanced sex without a condom one too many times, despite the extra cash it made… the cost was too high. His mother went to Lockdown city in hopes of finding his father and claiming childcare. She was desperate and willing to try anything. Whether she was successful or not would never be known to him. He was taken by a scientist who needed a young sample to work on. So he had a new home.
The arms of the not so loving scientists. He spent his time crying out in pain and staring at the walls. At age 14, After he was fully integrated with his K-9 DNA he was left to his own devices. 6 months later he was found huddled in a corner crying, no longer a virgin and not quite sure whether he was gay or not.
After that he was studied to view the further effects of the female genes, then passed around as a pet for certain scientists to amuse themselves with.
